The Federal Ministry of Health, for the purpose of implementation of the project NeurNet, intends to award a supply contract for supply of Video EEG devices and EEG analysis station in Mostar, Tuzla and Nova Bila with financial assistance from the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020. The tender dossier is available from the Federal Ministry of Health, Maršala Tita 9, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and will also be published on the Federal Ministry of Health website.

The deadline for submission of tenders is 22 October 2018 at 12:00. Possible additional information or clarifications/questions shall be published on the same website as mentioned above.

Request for Expression of Interest - Re-invitation

This re-invited Request for Expression of Interest follows the Request for Expression of Interest published in local newspapers “Dnevni Avaz” and “Večernji List” on February 21, 2018.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has received a grant from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) toward the cost of the “Reducing Health Risk Factors Project” (“the Project”) and its intent is to use certain grant proceeds to make payments under the activity “Design and Implementation of Promotion Activities”.

The consulting services (“Services”) include assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health in communication efforts to promote the Tobacco Control Law as well as other Tobacco Control Law policies.

Specifically, it includes: Activities for promotion of the Tobacco Control Law, as well as other Tobacco Control Law policies, with an aim to increase awareness of the benefits and importance of healthy life styles by disseminating information on expected advantages of the Law adoption and impacts. The Federal Ministry of Health is now inviting eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing the above Services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the requested Services (description of relevant assignments, experience in relevant conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). At this moment CVs of key experts are not requested.

Interested Consultant Company has to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment in carrying out similar assignments. The required minimum experience should be demonstrated by documenting evidence related to delivering of at least two tasks relevant for this assignment during the last ten (10) years, implemented either in BiH or neighbouring the countries.

Interested Consultant Company must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the Services by fulfilling following requirements:
-    Company information: name, registration, address, telephone number, facsimile number, year of establishment, contact person for the project, fields of expertise;
-    Reference list of similar assignments (minimum two) in the last ten (10) years. Similar assignments refer to any activities related to provision of support to government entities in their efforts to promote adoption and/or implementation of legislation relevant to health and social care reforms. Reference list should contain information about the client, assignment description, value of the contract and period of execution.
-    Company needs to provide a statement that it does not have an active contract with Tobacco Industry, nor will conclude one while performing this assignment

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loan and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, Revised July 2014.
