Request for Expression of Interest
Bosnia and Herzegovina has received a grant from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) toward the cost of the “Reducing Health Risk Factors Project” (“the Project”) and its intent is to use certain grant proceeds to make payments under the activity “Design and Implementation of Promotion Activities”.
The consulting services (“Services”) include assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health in communication efforts to promote the Tobacco Control Law as well as other Tobacco Control Law policies.
Specifically it includes:
• Activities for promotion of the Tobacco Control Law, as well as other Tobacco Control Law policies, with an aim to increase awareness of the benefits and importance of healthy life styles by disseminating information on expected advantages of the Law adoption and impacts.
The Federal Ministry of Health is now inviting eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing the above Services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the requested Services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). At this moment CVs of key experts are not requested.
Interested Consultant Company has to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment in carrying out similar assignments. The required minimum experience should be demonstrated by documenting evidence related to, at least, two assignments that included similar tasks during the last five (5) years, implemented in the country.
Interested Consultant Company must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the Services by fulfilling following requirements:
- Company information: name, registration, address, telephone number, facsimile number, year of establishment, contact person for the project, fields of expertise;
- Reference list of similar assignments (minimum two) in the last five (5) years. Reference list should contain information about the client, assignment description, value of the contract and period of execution;
- Company needs to provide a statement that they have not worked for Tobacco Industry in the last five (5) years.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loan and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, Revised July 2014.
